What I learned from a free BookBub promo on a series book: Your rating may dip with a broader audience. Some love it. Some don’t. Some hate an unresolved ending. Fair enough. Most standalones resolve neatly at the end, but with a series, a cliffhanger ending is the point. #AuthorSky #BookSky

100000% THANK YOU! My point exactly. There were 7 adults supervising the soccer game and no one did anything when my daughter was intentionally headbutted and her head kicked so hard by an opponent that she received a concussion and I had to rush her to the ER. They did NOTHING!

I’m dealing with an incredibly stressful situation involving my daughter’s safety. Bullying in youth sports is REAL & I will NOT put up with it. Period. Being a parent means sometimes you have to be the loudest voice in the room for your child. I will always be that voice. #ParentSky

I think it was the team cause our goalie got hit in the face 3X and another teammate got elbowed hard in the stomach. The coaches on this league is notoriously competitive. I blame the adults.

I’m waiting for a lawyer’s office to get back to me and will call others tomorrow. This is really stressful and unnecessary. It sucks. It’s affecting my mental health. It is traumatic now anytime she’s playing a game.

Also got a video of the assaulting player shoving my daughter real hard to the ground before the headbutting/head kicking incident. So same player did this 2x! The player did not get in trouble. Wasn’t called on it. Uploaded video to U.S. Soccer & will also give it to SafeSports. #ParentSky

This has affected my mental health. Made reports to league, Cal North, SafeSport, U.S. Soccer. 5 supervising adults (coaches + referee) claimed to NOT see my daughter get headbutted & head kicked, leading to concussion. Assaulting player was not removed. Game wasn’t stopped. Not okay. #ParentSky

Finally spoke teammate’s mom who heard the girl who assaulted my daughter say, “I did it on purpose cause I knew she was going to score.” The assault during a soccer game left my daughter with a concussion. Waiting for police to call back to complete my report. I’m pressing charges. #ParentSky

They did nothing. The ref didn’t stop the game. My daughter had double vision, couldn’t understand words, felt like she was going to black out and felt tired. Nothing happened to the girl that did this and the ref didn’t stop the game like he should have until my daughter had to flag him down.

My daughter is real good but got put on a team with players none of the coaches wanted. She scores a lot so she was placed as striker & the opposition goes after her cause she’s fierce but short. They’ve pushed, kicked, stomped her feet, now a potential head injury. IDK if it’s enough for a lawsuit.

They are excessively competitive. It’s horrible. Worse the coaches select the same players every year so they have all the strong players. And other “left over” unwanted/weaker players are all put on one team creating an imbalance. I think the competitive nature made this kid do this.

She apparently apologized after but was still bragging it was on purpose. So they may claim she apologized or that there wasn’t proof of intentional motive. This league has a 1.5 star rating for lots of things. I can see why. Biggest issue is they they are over-the-top competitive in a toxic way.

My daughter is 11. A player head butted then kicked her in the head during soccer today & was bragging she did it on purpose. Now she’s in the ER being evaluated for a possible concussion. It’s awful seeing kids learn to be nasty so young. Filed a complaint with the league. I’m furious. #ParentSky

Yes and they’re been doing this for months. I’ve only caught it since May. They’ve likely been doing this for who knows how long? They say just enough to appear like they read it but really it is to tank competition. Imagine being married to someone like this? How miserable can one be to do this?
