I worked a lot with muted colours recently so today I sat down and had fun with some lovely vibrant ones~ 💜
The gorgeous custom sketchbook was handmade by @syystuuli.bsky.social ✨
 #Gouache #ColoredPencil #MixedMedia #TraditionalArt #SketchBook #Fantasy #FantasyArt #Forest

A photo of the left page of an open, black paper sketchbook, placed on a wooden desk and surrounded by coloured pencils, a paint brush, leaves, a branch, and minerals. The sketchbook page features part of a smoothly curving tree, overgrown with moss and bright yellow flowers. In the background, a pink/purple/blue forest is visible indistinctly. Pollen and shimmering dust dance in the air.

Feeling generous 🌱 From nordic mythology inspired postcards to bigger fine art prints, all of my prints are -20% today and tomorrow. Wander over here to see them all: 🍃 syystuuli.bigcartel.com #art #illustration #artprint #natureart #folklore #fantasy #taide #taideprintti #pienyrittäjä

Stacks of postcards sliding down to a table from the two hands holding them. There are nine different postcards with fantasy and mythology inspired illustrations. The illustrations are colorful and have been painted by hand. The card in the front that's most visible is northern finnish mythology inspired and has a fox creating northern lights by running on snow and having its tail touch the frozen ground.

Two square art prints of a wood bark painting with a white brush stroke in the middle. Next to the art prints is a hand with a wood texture tattoo on it.

A package wrapped in black tissue paper with jute string and a wax seal with prints, an envelope and a small fern under the wax. On top of the package is an ivy plant vine and a text that says

Some custom work again. My most recent bookbinding project 🌿 White watercolour paper journal for Hannah ✨ #bookbinding #bookbinder #sketchbook #journal #handmade #fern #embroidery #book #kirja #kirjasidonta #pienyrittäjä #käsintehty

A handmade journal with a dark green cover and a big green embroidered fern on it the size of the whole front cover. The book is bound with light brown thread and the stitches come through the spine. The book is held shut with a similar shade of light brown leather string that goes around the book twice. The book is placed on a wooden surface and it's leaning on a pile of other handmade books. Some tools and a big fern are on the background

The book held with the spine and the stitching most visible to the camera

The book is filled with thick white watercolour paper that has torn edges. The brown leather string that holds the book shut has a small old key at the end.

A closer look at the fern embroidery on the book's cover. Above the fern is a small embroidered circle that looks like it's shining some light on the fern leaves.

I had the absolute honour of making another custom sketchbook for @lindenshieldarts.bsky.social ✨🌘 I love the mossy green cover with the brown and gold. 🌱 #mastoart #bookbinding #bookbinder #sketchbook #journal #handmade #book #kirja #kirjasidonta #pienyrittäjä #käsintehty

An a5 sized dark green handmade sketchbook with brown leather clasps and a brown leather patch in the middle. The leather patch has a golden sicle moon and an edelweiss flower button on it.

A closer look at the details on the cover. The golden sicle moon shines when light hits it.

The handmade book photographed from above with its pages pressed shut. Most of the pages are thick black paper with a couple blue and green pages in the end.

Taivas Acrylic on wood 40 cm x 30 cm 2025 I packed up my exhibition today. This one happened to be the first painting I unloaded from my car. The name "Taivas" means the sky and was one of my dad's favourite words. #art #painting #traditionalart #natureart #taide #maalaus

An acrylic painting on plywood with light wooden frames. The painting is placed on the ground on some lichen and moss, next to some old branches.
The painting is a scenery of a lake at sunset with trees in the horizon. In the middle of the dark horizon is a campfire that leaves a large smoke trail to the sky.

Detail of the painting. Paint drips down in the lake part of the scenery making some abstract shapes out of water and paint.

Details of the surface of the painting. The paint strokes are visible and not blended together.

More detail of the painting's textured surface. The plywood texture shines through the thin layers of paint in some parts of the painting.
