Motivation

Kathryn Zalecka @sythgara.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

I've never really had an art mascot besides few try outs over the years. Nothing that really stuck. And a blonde chick doesn't exactly standout so I'm trying to revert back to using my easkull species as a base. So far I find her more expressive and fun to work with. #easkull #sythgara #fantasy

Inktober 6 Ogre - Humbaba. A humanoid ogre, with sneer of a lion and face full of something akin to goat intestines. He can be found in the epic of gilgamesh, where he's described as a guardian of the forests. #humbaba #gilgamesh #sythgara #fantasyart #inktober2026 #inktober #ogre

Those are great thanks! I've seen so many wing tuts but none mentioned, for example, the shoulder feathers that close the gap.

I thought about getting that dress game to make designs! It's cute!

This is such a fun idea. I'll be keeping an eye out as it's definitely my kind of theme.

I really like the dragon image. There's just something about those colors and composition

The fact they still haven't added thumbnails to new uploads in your watcher notifications slowly killed it for me. There's no way I'll be clicking all the links and waiting for them to load. Having thumbnails would at least encourage me to click on stuff that interests me.

That's huge! Congrats on your achievement. :)

Oh cool! Now that I'm back here I should start checking these out! Have you been to this one before? Is it good?

If you like fantasy, and custom races, humanoids, bit of romance too, and have patience for me finishing my books, then come on over!

Kathryn Zalecka @sythgara.bsky.social · 10/02/2026

I hope you can get it sorted! Sounds frustrating indeed without even knowing details.

This is gorgeous! I can feel that crisp, cold air

Thanks! In ideal world my story would have come out back then!

010

Kathryn Zalecka @sythgara.bsky.social · 21/12/2025

I suggest opening the image in a new tab as otherwise it might be blown up and lose detail!

It's funny, that of all the periods post the busiest time of my last few years I'd sit down to draw right before Xmas. It's been a while since I started remastering some of my old art, but I hold to it. And today this one felt like the one. Serper remaster. #fantasy #fantasyart #sythgara #art

We've done easkulls with more pitbull flair, here's more bull. A bullskull. I suppose it also highlights their mammal-ness. They're not dragons : o #art #easkull #fantasy #sketch #oc #bull #character #noai #original #sythgara #humanoid

Hi all! Despite my lack of presence recently I'm very much alive. Life has been mostly work and trying to navigate everything so my own art took a major pause. All the spare time is spent resting and socialising away from the workstation. It will probably continue bit more. Thank you! #fantasyart

It used to be a magical experience full of posibilities and charm with all the different cozy and creative looks some websites sported. Remember flash websites for movies that were coming out? I think my fav part was less scrolling.
