What Lemmy server can you recommend for starting a new community about a Foss project? I don't want to make a discord server. I want a public and search engine crawlable forum. But also don't want to host a discourse. I would host my own #Lemmy or #kbin though if needed, but maybe there is […]

Day two of the #sccon26 successfully accomplished. 🥳 SCCON is not only a conference about digitisation in the public sector, but also an annual gathering of the European #foss scene. Lucky us, we had grat time with @xwikiorg @xwiki We share the same values […] [Original post on fosstodon.org]

A group of nine people is posing in front of booths featuring the logos for xWiki and OpenProject at a conference or event. The participants are dressed in business attire, some wearing name tags. The background includes promotional materials and a vibrant display.

Three people are smiling at a networking event. One person is holding a white T-shirt with "Open Source Club" printed on it. The others are presenting the shirt, and there are other attendees in the background. The setting appears to be a conference

A speaker presents in front of a screen displaying a graph about migration waves with a timeline extending to 2028. The background features a blue wall with text in German. An audience member is visible, focused on the presentation.

@NebulaRobo lately drew a couple of foss mascots in their style. give them a follow and maybe support them on Patreon the style is really cute! patreon.com/nebularobo #GotoSocial #Fediverse #SepiaSearch #Peertube

It is the the Peertube mascot "Sepia" it is holding a magnifier. It is drawn in chibi style and the bg is a diagonal cross hatching.

it is GotoSocial Sloth mascot. It is hanging from a twick and waving. It is also in the chibi style and the bg is a diagonal cross hatching

Damn we really do need an alternative to TripAdvisor Zabbit etc. the "Places" thing. It is like the third time now I want to swap out that API somewhere and can't find anything. I need like a mashup of mobilizon + bookwyrm, but with "your local restaurant around the corner".

@hosford42 super important about so many things. UBI would work because people will find a thing they love to do, not that they are forced to do. It also emphasises the recent discovery, that we aren't burned out, we are just tired, because this world seems so meaningless. I would even go so […]
