Looking through my notes and tbh I could probably just turn this into something on my site at some point, I write so much that never sees the light of day lol. Granted I never finish anything, BUT the framework is there (… for me to never finish)

2026.02.09 - Identity and the physical form

The older I get the more I realise that nothing matters and that there are no truly “definitive” labels for anyone. Identity is subjective, fluid, and sometimes even a collective of sorts.

I would say my main identity is as **genderless** — I am both male and female, yet I am also neither male nor female. Everything and nothing.

I have no real interest in medical transition of any kind because 1) there is no sort of surgery that could give me what I want, and 2) the body is not and never will be reflective of the mind, as it is nothing but a physical form. I’ve had a disconnect from my physical body for years at this point, and I don’t think my body is anything beyond just a reflection of my personal tastes and financial limitations. Sometimes it’s even jarring when I hear the assumptions people make based on appearance because I forget “oh yeah, this isn’t who I am.”

The more I delve into **certain topics** the more I become certain that the physical form is mostly irrelevant, especially as you hack apart the mind into multiple smaller pieces to play with. The more pieces there are, the less it matters and the less it conveys what is truly inside. There is no solution for this.
