I think this is also good analysis for people who aren't systems, as learning to understand the part of you that thinks its helping but currently is doing more harm to your well-being and activity is important. We often internalize bad lessons from abusive environments unknowingly & must unlearn.

looking back at huge chunks of older art we did feels so. strange to me now. whoever was present while drawing all of that were completely different people and are most likely gone or dormant now. or even completely changed & we just don't realize.
