New art 👀 I've been listening to a lot of Battlesnake recently so I wanted to make something inspired by them.

SynthStrike (Lucas) @synthstrike.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

Starting a mid-year resolution to remember to post here more often, I've really been improving and refining my art style! I'll start with my latest piece, inspired by the latest heatwave which made life a misery for the last week haha #digitalart #coolstuff #graphicdesign #posterdesign #heatwave

An piece of digital art depicting a man sat casually on the floor of a forest. Theee is a forest fire a short distance away and he is reclined watching the blaze approach. At the bottom of the piece, there is a statement, "Waiting for the End".

I'm sorry I don't post here as often as I'd like. Here's a little art dump of what I've been working on! Perhaps at some point I'll actually get an Etsy up and running for these tokens as well.

Helplessness Blues! This album has stuck with me since the first listen, I think I've listened to it back to front more than any other album I've ever owned.

I've had a super hectic past week or so, I will get to the last few #tokentober designs soon, but some good news is I got my first print samples back with my first 3 token designs! The card back is darker than I'd like but over all, I am really happy with them!

I wasn't quite happy with my Blood token so I gave it a little more work today and it's getting closer to what I want, I think.

Given I've been making these tokens with public domain/copyright free images, I figured a Sliver was probably not achievable but I think this works? #Tokentober

I did a spot of MTGxFF Sealed this weekend, here's my pool! It went 0-3, but I flipped Zenos twice, so I'm counting that as a moral victory. Coincidentally those were the two games I won, go figure.

Some Commandfest B'ham highlights for me were meeting the guys from the @pleasantkenobi.bsky.social discord for Vintage Cube, and then playing his Party Box the next morning with @maxmakesmagic.com and @narukamiknight.bsky.social, all of which were absolutely lovely. It was a great weekend!

I made myself a T-Shirt design to rep my favourite commander, Rocco, Street Chef at Commandfest Birmingham in a few weeks! I wanted it to look like an old pizza box or that sort of vibe anyway. Let me know what you think! #mtg #commander #commandfest #tshirt

Finally, I hosted another night with the EDH mission card system I've been working on, just before Christmas, so of course I had to make tiny instruction booklets because I hate standing at the front of the room and telling everyone what to do, I get so shy 🤭 They turned out awesome though!

A small hand made paper instruction booklet labelled "Mythic Missions, Christmas Edition rules" It is decorated with a Christmas theme.

A look inside the instruction booklet, detailing a special Christmas themed commander game rule titled "Season of Giving", which entails players choosing a gift to give to their opponents at the end of each of their turns.
