You know what might sell me on a folding smartphone? Not having some bendy hinged screen. Just have 2 "normal" screens like the Nintendo DS, etc did. Demos of one larger bendy screen being slit in half in software to show 2 apps side-by-side just rubs salt in the wound 🤣

I'm pretty sure that's how the extradition act is written. If there's an extradition request for someone who is also wanted or serving time in the UK, the local stuff takes priority and extradition requests are handled once local stuff is complete... I think.

The part I haven't heard is who is being held liable. In the past "oops" hasn't really passed muster as a defense against "penetration tests without a prior sign off". I would normally assume whomever ran/prompted the model, but given US laws on corporate rights, etc who knows?!

I mean with regards to organizations that have gone is so hard that it's not as simple as disabling or paywalling the AI feature or something. Rather you are fundamentally left non-functional if it goes away.

The part that gets me is that even if you are fully bought into AI at a fundamental level, making the decision to commit so deeply to it prior to it being clear exactly what the long term operating costs are seems risky. Token cost skyrockets or availability tanks seems an existential business risk.
