so shoutout to transgender lesbian Tressa Calzone and her 100% partywide immunity to all physical attacks

relevant sylvia lore: one of the most definining moments that made me realize I was trans was how I had my username and pfp as tressa and people kept telling me they thought I was a girl and I would be Very Happy

Does octopath 2 have a Good Story? octo1 had Seven Alright Stories and One Tressa and it seems like the story was where they took the most critique from the first game, so I'm curious if this one is better recieved

RIP runelord tressa.... Also rip the other three bonus subjobs I forgot about because they weren't nearly as interesting as runelord

The first game had such even subjob pacing (there's one outside each starting city! You don't need any for ch1 and you should probably get some by ch2) that it's really shocking this game gives you a subjob right away and its not even one of the player main-classes

Wait this game has split story routes??? way more advanced than the first game :0

new anbernic thing is killing me. everyone was so excited for Remember the 3DS? It's Back, in Unlicensed Android Device Form because the use case of these devices is to download pokemon games and not play them, and then they swapped the c-stick for a dedicated AI button. if you laugh you go to hell

Its so funny how "console variants themed after specific games" don't come with the game a lot of the time cuz they know you'll probably buy it seperately anyway if you're a big enough fan to get the themed console

once i get this game done - maybe apply for college - finish octopath traveler 2 - make a high budget sequel using all my earnings and tapping all my programmer + artist + writer connections to make an ambitious multi hour epic

my game's art and ui isnt sickeningly amateurish and oversimplified, it's just anthology-of-the-killer-esque! get some culture already

i played outer wilds for like 20 hours and i didnt really see what made it So Peak but maybe people just built it up too much

010

is 'the house in fata morgana' more or less of a must-play peak-fiction game than outer wilds

"stomp clap hey" is one of the best, funniest, most evocative music genre names. everyone knows exactly what you mean and there's no need to haggle definitions.

if any of you all play it, be warned it will be probably very graphically and aurally unpolished, because in order to get things finished i have to allow myself to not try insanely hard

alright now its crunch time with regards to this game thing, cuz i'd REALLY like to have it ready for playtesting by the end of the month, and that can only happen if i lock the fuck in

is it really trivia if its the first thing you learn about the franchise

things i know about lord of the rings - viggo mortensen actually broke his toe when he kicked a helmet - he also did a knife throwing stunt so perfectly that no one got hurt when it was accidentally swapped for a real knife - viggo mortensen is probably the name of both the charactor and the actor

i just didnt expect them to be so similar!
