I was talking to my boyfriend yesterday and I brought up this painter who I keep seeing, a guy who’s been working on this huge painting of a forest with a bear, eagle with mountains in the background for years now. In the videos ive seen from him he was going back and tweaking little parts of his painting, often testing his ideas out by lying glass over the painting, painting his changes, removing the glass, then if he was happy with it, repainting it onto the canvas

On a happier note last sunday I brought a new friend of mine from school plein air painting with me and it was really fun. They played guitar while I painted and we have plans to go back to the same spot this weekend too :)
