When I was younger I would try to explain to people why their actions were a bad idea. But I've come to realize people will generally do as they intend, because they're already convinced by their own internal compass. So sometimes it's just better to let it be, and let them find out on their own.

I have a template if you want to make a portfolio site on Carrd. I also just moved my comic over to Leaflet, if you want to consider that for comics (or you can look into Wordpress or comicfury)

Carrd is essentially a 1 page website. It’s great for links or small portfolios. If you need to put up a lot of stuff, it might not be the best, as it has to load everything at once.

Yeah... people think companies are like special interest groups unified by causes or purposes. Most employees are just unified by the common cause of getting paid, and have no say in what (usually) management decides.

It's probably because Discord is comparatively private and whoever is running it is not the same person/persons tasked with the public statements. If it's an official statement they have to be careful, if they are under contract it could put the whole company at legal risk.
