I have been adjusting the opacity of a layer mode for hours today. But staggered, like so: > adjusts layer > do a chore to refresh my eyes >glares at the painting, hit ctrl z >more chores. rinse and repeat I really need to adhere better to the sage advice, "kill your darlings."

late night doodle. I seem to really like drawing people with snake hair

A sketch of a man with a slightly solemn expression. Coiling snakes slither around his head, seemingly appearing to be his "hair". A few stray scales decorate his face.

So lovely. The stain glass is beautiful and it truly feels like capturing a quiet, bittersweet memory 🍂

12. Angels are mysterious winged beings, manifesting in various shapes--they may loosely resemble humanoids, animals, plants, objects or appear almost abstract. Their nature and motivations are obscured to mortals. The moon Edenhell is their home, but many wander the planet's surface as well

boo. The tickets sold out in my city despite waiting 2 hours in queue >: kinda sucks venues don't have a system in place like checking IDs to prevent scalpers.

I was watching a crime podcast and the officers tackled the perpetrator for car theft. My immediate thought was "they have a good profile" as they laid there on the ground and I couldn't resist the artist urge to find inspiration in the most UNUSUAL places. Pls don't judge me over this lol.

and I was so scared, but determined. I won't even get into the socio-political stuff bc it's not even the main event now. They found some cancer while in there, so I'm going to face my next boss fight 😭 (not my first cancer stint but the first one was kinda breezy, u'know as a treat).

health-related post I debated posting about this given my general lack of activity here, but I guess it helps me to voice my thoughts into ether when it is something significant in my life. I had a salpingectomy (sterilization) last thursday, which is something I've wanted for a very long time --

Your basil looks so beautiful and healthy! I've been struggling to find a consistent sunny spot at my place so my basil feels a bit stunted (and they're getting woody...). I'm still a beginner with growing herbs, but it's definitely been rewarding when things go well.

An unexpected (but welcomed) human moment happened when we crossed paths with another couple in the middle of nowhere, at 2 in the morning in a dark country road and surrounded by farmlands. They were also stargazing and we had a brief exchange. It was just so nice 🥲

yesterday we drove out of the city to see the Perseid meteor shower. The light pollution makes it hard but we were able to see a few 'w' Two days prior we saw a REALLY bright one and it startled me lol. It felt bittersweet going back to the city but all the more reason I will cherish that evening

Look at this Nasty Little Rabbit! This bunny looks friendly and fun but it is actually the mastermind behind a coordinated attack on Beorn's carrots, known in history books as the battle of five rabbits. It was very nasty business. (for MtG: the Hobbit, AD: Colin Boyer.)

I realize I forgot to post the interiors shot for the Pilgrim's Inn ! Then here it is. I've always loved rpg taverns, so I couldn't pass the occasion to make one ! #conceptart #gameart

A view from the interior of an old tavern with a timbered ceiling. A guy in a 18th century costume is sitting near the window while a maid is cleaning the table behind him.

An isometric view of a tavern, accompanied by a flavor text : "During the middle ages and the years before the cloaking of Ygern, the Pilgrim’s Inn was the beating heart of the religious city.
Once situated on the side of the courtyard,
it expanded around, incorporating the surrounding buildings.
But the years of wealth are long gone, and now only those who already know about the island are visiting Ygern, and most of the clients are local fishermen in search of some warmth.
But with the revolution growling at its doorstep, and the tensions between the new French Empire and its neighbours escalating, a new slew of visitors has started showing up : spies, conspirators, corsairs all come back to Ygern, hoping the mysterious forces hiding on the island would turn the tide in their favor..."

Another view of the common room of a tavern. A semi circular fireplace is warming up the place, while patrons sit at various tables. A swordfish skeleton addorns the wall, next to a lantern clock from the 18th century. The ceiling is timbered.

An explicative page featuring various characters and props of the tavern : the waitress, the tenant, the cook and a patron, as well as the Oven, the clock, some tableware and decoration.
