DO NOT drink the filtered water from your fridge during a boil water advisory. Water filters found in refrigerators do not remove harmful bacteria or viruses. Same goes for those filtered pitchers as well. I hope these tips are helpful to you and I hope you’re staying safe ❤️

as far as doing laundry goes it is safe to wash clothes in tap water as long as the clothes are completely dried before being worn. However, increased turbidity that sometimes occurs during a boil water event may discolor clothing, especially whites.

if you have a dehumidifier in your home you can use the water collected from that to flush your toilet. just fill a bucket up and pour it in the bowl to manually flush. if no dehumidifier you can just use bottled water.
