at first, it was just a cute design choice
to use more of the pink of ralsei's scarf
on ralsei's face. but then i found out that
pink lenses actually help with those
who are sensitive to light (ralsei is a
darkner)
i also have headcanoned since chapter 2
that ralsei has albinism (white fur,
pink eyes) and animals with albinism
usually have bad eyesight.
in the context of chapter 4 where they
admit that since the beginning, ralsei has
been trying to change the prophecy by
acting kind or gentler... i guess it
could also be said that ralsei has
been looking through rose colored
glasses. but now he's going to do better
at telling the truth and being harsh
when he has to be.

Ralsei's glasses are off, instead being held in his paws. Their pink eyelashes are visible with the glasses off.
