A good musician friend of mine saw this elsewhere and sent it to me saying that they instantly thought of me...Whelp, if the shoe fits, guess I'll wear 'em proudly. "Well, feel something in B-flat, motherfucker." I think this may become my new new catch phrase. I only say it because I care. 🤣🤣🤣

Early stages of last night's #LunarEclipse. We got chased inside by mosquitos after this, but at least I got to try out the "moon" setting on my Nikon P1100 during an actual astronomical event. #Moon #Eclipse

New quiver project complete! Made to hold 18 arrows, with 3 carry options: hip, back, or baldric. I'm not in any way a skilled leather worker, but thankfully I am pretty good at making functional stuff. I'm quite pleased with the results on this one. #archery #traditionalarchery

Voted—WI Primary! In manys' eyes, I voted for an evil greater than any in the deepest depths of R'lyeh: a Democratic Socialist. <<<GASP!">>> Hong for governor, 100%! Great Old Ones save us! "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn." Embrace the insanity—it's the real moderate choice.

First dozen arrows complete! Used real cheap parts to learn on, but these came out, and fly, way better than expected. Bamboo skinned 500 spine carbon shafts cut to 28", 125g target points, 5" feather fletching. They're very heavy at 520g on average, but I like that: I'm weird, I know. #archery

A set of 12 arrows in an old leather quiver, lying on a colorful rug. One of the arrows is outside the quiver resting across it. The arrows are carbon shafts with a bamboo appearance, fletched with red and yellow feathers, and a black steel point.

Sometimes, a project goes exactly to plan, and exceeds your own expectations. My newly completed DIY arrow saw works like an absolute charm! #archery #DIY

By the time we were able to get to The Domes this morning to see it, Penelope was already nearly closed back up, and only a faint hint of its smell was noticeable. Still cool though. #corpseflower #penelope #mitchellparkdomes #mke #milwaukee

Friends! Now that the weather has somewhat stabilized for the season, If you want to come over and shoot a bit of archery during the week, drop me a line so we can schedule a visit. #Archery

Featured briefly in Bad Bunny's Super Bowl LX half-time show last night, the national instrument of Puerto Rico: the Cuatro. Here's a pic of my father's old instrument on the left, and the new one I had made for me on the right. My heritage—the show was extraordinarily emotional for me. 🇵🇷 Wepa! 🇵🇷

One of the coolest events we've experienced (twice, now) since moving to the area: Doors Open Milwaukee. Getting to go behind the scenes, or simply exploring new-to-us places around our new home city. Image 1: 1950s era pin setters at Falcon Bowl; Image 2: North Point Lighthouse. #doorsopen

Posted by a friend on FB. Apparently a ribbon seen at DragonCon. This, I think, for many of us of a certain age, is "chef's kiss."

Our lower backyard this morning, after last night's storm. Good thing the house is at the top of the creek's valley.

Ooh, shiny! New signs being installed today at my home course. #discgolf

Time to shake off the winter rust—simply a gorgeous day, today, to play #discgolf. I easily cleared the 6' wide tree gap that's a few feet in front of the tee-pad in the second photo, but those poor trees sure tell the tale of everyone who hasn't. #discgolfistherapy

Photo of a small group of trees opening to a bigger field, a muddy path leads toward a disc golf basket, shown in the distance.

Photo looking out to a disc golf fairway from the tee-pad area, between two young trees with countless gouges and scars from throws missing the gap.

As a professional music pusher, it's so cool that you're taking up a great instrument! Here's mine; and I might have a couple things digitally that I can send your way that might be useful.
