Solidarity, not charity! We served chicken pot pie casserole and passed out survival supplies at this week’s distro.

Tenants rarely have legal representation during eviction proceedings while most landlords do, resulting in an unfair imbalance. Please take a moment to make your voice heard and show support for the proposed ordinance to ensure tenants have a right to legal counsel! sbj.net/detail.html?...

Unfortunately, SGF City Council passed Bill 2025-35. Anyone with expired tags is now subject to having their vehicle impounded at the whim of the police. Hardinger, Jensen, and Horton voted against it, and in the interest of the working class. Please let them know their votes are appreciated.

Mutual aid can take many forms. Sometimes it looks like totes full of coats, hats, and bus passes to share with folks who need them.

🚨 STOP the City’s Unfair Towing Plan! 🚨 On February 24, SGF City Council is expected to vote on Ordinance 2025-035. If passed, police would have discretionary power to tow cars with expired tags from public property - punishing folks encountering barriers to paying renewal fees. Read more below ⬇️

The city wants tow cars with expired tags parked in public spaces. This means: ❌ Struggling families losing their only transportation ❌ Workers unable to get to their jobs ❌ Impound fees making it even harder to recover Join us Feb. 10 @ 6:30PM - 2620 W Battlefield Rd and say NO to the TOW!
