Partner often gets migraines. I rarely do - maybe had one all my life. Yesterday, she shows me an image of what an ocular migraine is like after years of trying to explain - weird distortions, blind spots, etc. Today, I had my first ocular migraine. Might be living with a witch(hot).

South of Midnight first impressions (played up to chapter 6): absolutely blown away by the art and voice direction. Writing and performance on point. Combat is simple but picks up in intensity after the first hour or so. I can't speak enough on how much I love the worldbuilding and themes.

Yesterday's Weapon Wednesday results gave us: ✅ A very rare ✅ Shortsword ✅ Made for/by cultists ✅ Fashioned from bone We came up with a weapon designed to fight and contain extraplanar beings, and even able to summon a facsimile of the creature whose bones are housed in the weapon itself!

Keep forgetting to post these! Thaumaturgy Thursday gave us a spell with: ✅ Evocation school ✅ 4th level ✅ Force and Bludgeoning damage ✅ 1 minute, no concentration ✅ V and M components (the latter of which is consumed) We came up with this spell, which turns the target into a gmod ragdoll!

A spell block for Chaotic Undulation, a 4th-level evocation spell. It has a casting time of 1 action and a range of touch. Its components are verbal and material, requiring a 200 gold piece gyroscope that is consumed on casting. It lasts for 1 minute, with no concentration. The spell's effect is as follows:

You alter the gravity around a creature or object you touch. The target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, it takes 4d8 force damage and gains the Restrained condition as it begins to spin and flail rapidly in place. On a success, the target takes half damage only. While restrained by this spell, a creature has disadvantage on saving throws to avoid being moved, and advantage on d20 Tests made to avoid or end the Grappled condition. It can repeat the save at the end of each of its turns, ending the spell on a success.

A creature that starts its turn or moves to a space within 5 feet of the target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 3d8 bludgeoning damage from the target's flailing body. The target takes this damage as well.

The force damage increases by 1d8 for each level you upcast the spell.

Figured I should start posting the results of our daily homebrew! Today's Weapon Wednesday results got us a rare sentient club made of bone associated with undead, with an ability to summon or create them. From there, we created a minotaur horn that can create a skeleton ally from a corpse!
