Looks good! You know what’s weird! I look at cornbread recipes and they are perfectly good cake recipes, but why is cornmeal here? Hard, grainy, cornmeal. This makes no sense. Its weird. But then, it’s good! Not sure why someone added it way-back-when, but it works!

There are a litany of accomplishments on her resume. She has monitored elections in other countries! The hiring of traffic officers is a small but big thing. Yes, it works but it shows action. John Tory actually passed the initiative but then sat on it. The most lip service ever.

Yes! And a fenced, off-leash dog park! (Sorry to mention a pooch when you started with human child…I’m that guy.) The dog needs to a little run and sniff about to burn some cals before getting back into the car. Not just a p&p. They’re cheap to build & they’ve got plenty of land.

FYI, I’m doing my best to practice what I preach, I’ve got a small-ish Audi with a manual transmission. It’s a 2014 and still running great. I don’t see why it doesn’t make it to 20 years old.

D - the automatic transmission is hell on a car. It creates a lot of torque. That force taxes everything on the vehicle & wears them out. A stick driven “normally” will last forever, saves you money and better for the environment (over buying another car earlier).

C - clutching improves timing, spacing and awareness of other drivers. When launching at a green light, you generally will take an extra beat. Gas hammering is drastically reduced. Consequently, so is hard braking. Less racing to red lights. When others are doing the same, you give them their space.

B - it requires all the limbs. Both hands, both feet, both hemispheres of the brain. Less fiddling with radios, gps, other phone isht. It also has a byproduct of making you look around more. (Btw, automatics are ok for those with disabilities, of course.)

A - we remove a good 10% of driving population of the top because they can’t figure out how to do it. Can’t drive a manual? Then you suck at driving…no licence for you!! This should be part of the fundamentals of driver training.

Well, since Shawn prodded the memory…here are my long-held, unwanted thoughts on how the stick shift can fix much of what we dislike about cars (much, not all!!): First, the rule: all gas engines are stick shifts. The automatic transmission is banned. No flappy-paddle shifters either. Sticks only.

Ugh…the 5-point bump for the Greens. Nobody truly splits the votes like the Green Party (except for maybe two ridings?). Decades of this and they simple don’t grow in any meaningful way. They catch vote-parkers regularly. Under FPTP, this will just continue forever. Just in the way. Le sigh.

I look forward to it! In my personal circles, something I’ve noted is that, sure, there was some immigration pressure on housing, but it was way overstated…to the point that it was used to overcorrect & close it. And I’m like, but who’s going to do the work? Cuts made & housing still a prob! Ofc.
