Merry Christmas from Mrs. Claus and me. /cc @swimflythrive.bsky.social

My wife and me dressed as a kind of hipster interpretation of Santa and Mrs. Claus in front of a Christmas tree at at airport.

Pouring rain on all the obscure musical acts and float handlers in the Macys Thanksgiving Day parade really turns the “dystopian drug trip” dial up to 100. 🙃🌧️☔️

“Gray rock” the trolls. Especially trying to justify a different opinion to people who refuse to listen and learn.

Thinking further on this, ISTM that one step forward on this better way is how we respond to the Twitter trolls and bullies who will inevitably make their way here. Loud “screenshot/block” bragging and noisy negative name dropping is the stale bread they feed on. Starve them of it.

Word of this morning is ‘procaffeinate’: to put everything on hold until you’ve had sufficient amounts of coffee.

May my struggles keep me near the cross And may my troubles show that I need God. May my battles end the way they should And may my bad days prove that God is good. May my whole life prove that God is good.

So the sky here is so blue and the air is so clean and fresh. What are our thoughts about how to keep it that way? Specifically - thoughts on muting all, and I mean ALL, political shenaniginsanity?
