The scariest thing is deciding that maybe you should take your pet to the emergency vet and not wait until Monday when the normal vet is open and then having that pet be first in line because it's so serious and then be hemorrhaging money while you wait for him to pee on his own.

Because I went to No Kings 1, I heard about my local DSA. Because I went to DSA, I heard about my city council's attempted misappropriation of Opioid settlement funds. Because I learned about the opioid settlement, I spoke out at City Hall against the funds being used for a K-9 unit.

An intersex facilitator and advocate said "I'm not more valid [than trans people], I'm just more certain", and I keep thinking about it. In searching for my own gender, I wished for a reason. I didn't have the feeling since 5 like others, I just had a very strong sense of self developing at 30.

Spent 4 hours raising money for the Camp with Pride Scholarship foundation and was blown away by a $500 donation. Truly thought he was joking, but that will go a long way towards sending a queer kid to a safe and affirming summer camp near them. Amazing.

One of my former students pulled over to tell me he thinks about my class a lot and that his classmate from our math class died a year ago. He said he was happy to see me and I gave him a big hug. I didn't know the kid had died, and I certainly didn't know I had made such an impact. What a world.

Had a really bizarre interaction at Anacortes pride where a person was claiming nonbinary people were taking away from those with dissociative identity disorder (DID) by using they/them pronouns. This is such a non-issue, pronouns are for everyone 🤷
