I've come to the realization that I've lost my sense of direction with video games. I want to experience the joy of finishing a beautifully drawn story narrative again. All the time I've spent playing FFXIV and other games to build a sense of community and belonging for myself isn't going anywhere.

I have a really bad habit of dropping games mid-way. Not because I lose interest, but because my comfort zone is playing multiplayer games with friends. I already spend so much of my time socially isolated through studying that I get FOMO and simply become unable to enjoy a good singleplayer game.

My goal for 2027 is to actually commit some of my little free time to finishing good story-driven games because they deserve a better chance from me (Metaphor, Clair Obscur, Plague tale, Nier automata, etc.)

Yeah, I’ve been avoiding my home workspace so that I can work on flat surface and actually have good wrist support. It’s been better today cuz I’ve been studying for my exams out of Starbucks but I need a long term fix Did a few wrist self-assessments to make sure it was nothing urgently serious

My temporary workspace has been giving me wrist pain these last couple days :( The desk I do my work on is a portable rotating desk and it does have good ergonomic support Maybe I should go get it checked out at the doctors.... concerned because its on the ulnar side of my wrist and it burns ALOT

Today I was in such a rush to get to my class that I forgot to take my ADHD medication. About halfway through the day, I was wondering why I felt so unmotivated and tired. After taking my meds, it was like my day went from feeling awful and shitty to suddenly being normal again lol
