Here are 9 of the games that were responsible for my enduring love of gaming, despite the state of the mainstream market atm.

So 2026 has been rough for me, the levels of stress Ive dealt with has had a negative effect on my writing, work, social life, and much more. I feel like things are starting to ease up ever so slightly, and I want to get back to writing new music, uploading videos, and working on what I love.

Doing some game capture for my next video. It should have been completed almost 2 month ago, but life had other ideas.

There's something truly beautiful about pen and ink illustrations. The lining alone in this is fantastic

The prospect of quantum immortality terrifies me. Every lucky escape I think Ive had could just have been my consciousness moving to another me at the inescapable moment of death.

Today has been wild. Shooting at a range in Birmingham, followed by playing a show in Cardiff, then back to Birmingham for camping the rest of the weekend

Wait... does blue-sky have its own "shorts feed"? If so Ill come back and repost a load of my short videos over the next few days.

Writing lyrics is probably my weakest point in music. So im gonna try to do more of it and get better. Please excuse any bad lyrics in the coming year as I try to make the best I can 😅

My flat is insanely warm. Can't sleep due to the heat. Decide to learn some paganini... And I thought some of my solos were tough... At least I'm making some progress.

SWH Music @swhmusic.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

After weeks of getting used to a relentlessly changing sleep pattern for my new job, and packing away half the flat for a potential relocation. I finally was able to sit down with my guitar for the first time and just jam out. I now have some new ideas in my head for The Age of Hell 😁

SWH Music @swhmusic.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

So this year I've been continuing my quest to try and clear some of my backlog. Just hit 15 games this year run to credits roll. 😁

Bought this game Yesterday. Played it relentlessly until I beat the currently available chapter. I can't wait to see how this progresses.

With the usage of Generative AI in games being a hot topic the past couple weeks, we would like to take a moment to reiterate our promise to never use anything provided by a Generative AI model on any area of the Duke Nukem Forever: Restoration Project at any stage. You can hold us to that.

Gotta love it when you render a video and it stutters for a moment at the beginning causing desync for the rest of the video...

I’m looking for players who have: • A love for Y2K era shooters. • Vibes for 2000's breakbeat, trance, and DnB music. • The strength to survive in a broken cyberpunk dystopia. • And strategy to use cybernetic enhancements and gravity manipulation. This is SPRAWL zero!

Brilliant. My work has just shorted me 2 days of pay because my manager didn't put 2 days of annual leave through after agreeing to do so. Just as I thought things were going to get better... another set back 😤

I start my new job in a couple of weeks. I finish this job 2 weeks before. I will be losing a full week's pay. During my 2 weeks off I'll be trying to put out some new YouTube videos, as well as running deals on Bandcamp. Please consider supporting me in any way possible to help ease this change

Ok I've now read all of Chainsaw man. And although it came at a point that could have spanned in a few different amazing directions before ending up where it did. I did really enjoy the ending. I think it just came a few chapters too early

I've always understood the reason we use Single Mother's instead of Absentee Fathers is down to a variable reasons The child can be raised by a single parent. The Father could be dead, he could be trying to gain custody, he could be in Prison (rightfully or wrongfully), or he could be a deadbeat.

I really wanna make more music, but right now life is keeping me away from my guitar, keyboard, piano, and drums. The only time I've been able to really spend on my DAW is to make click tracks, and do a little teaching. I need sleep, and I need to spend some time making music again.
