My GF's thoughts on... Doctor Strange "I liked it, but it felt predictable. Strange is an asshole, even though he did a lot of good. The Ancient One was obvious, and I KNEW the Eyeball was an Infinity Stone! It was a fun introduction to magic. The cloak was my favorite part of the whole movie!" 6/10

My GF's thoughts on... Iron Fist - S2 "I really enjoyed this season. I liked that Danny wasn't as naive, and I thought Colleen carried this whole season. I'm still rooting for Ward. Mary/Walker was cool, and I liked her dynamic with everyone. The breakup and cliffhanger ending were stupid." 5.5/10

Resident Evil (2026) is what would happen if we followed an NPC during the events of Raccoon City, and it was so much fun! I loved the comedy, but would've liked a little less of it. The tension throughout perfectly evokes that of the games. The creature and sound design really sold the experience.

My GF's thoughts on... Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 "It felt a little predictable, but I liked it. It was funny, but corny. I'm glad Yondu didn't die a POS. Gamora was a little too standoffish for me. I'm actually surprised Nebula wasn't so bad. Rocket and Groot are still my favorite!" 7/10

My GF's thoughts on... Jessica Jones - S2 "I didn't enjoy this. It had a more linear narrative this time around. Malcom is naive, but the only good guy in the whole thing. Hogarth's side story was weird and unimportant. Trish was selfish, but Jessica was all over the place. The villain sucked." 3/10

Yeah, Fable will have to wait. Wolverine fucking slaps! I only got through the first mission, due to my download speeds being slow tonight, but I'm in love with what I've experienced so far. Play it for yourself, people. It's really fun! Happy early Birthday presents from the best partner, ever! 😁

God forbid, a game decides to be a linear experience instead of some massive open world investment. Marvel's Wolverine by Insomniac Games sounds EXACTLY like what I wanted from the experience. I will still be there Day 1. Grow up, haters.

I've only played 3 Zelda games in my life, so far: Breath of the Wild = Fun, but not quite my cup of tea. Ocarina of Time 3DS = I enjoyed, even though I had to guide it most of the way. Skyward Sword = Absolutely adored! The Ocarina of Time Remake, might be the first Day 1 Zelda title for me!

(Resident Evil: Vendetta) This is my favorite of the CG films so far. It has a great pace, with tons of visual homages to the original game. The action is so absurd and over the top, that you can't help but enjoy it. I don't agree with Leon being depressed, but I kind of get it. This was really fun!

(Resident Evil: Damnation) Leon is dropped in the middle of a European civil war, where B.O.W's are being used on both sides. It was an ok concept, but the first half is kind of slow. The second half is non-stop action that almost saves it. It ends anticlimacticly, but Matt Mercer is always a win!

I told myself that I would hold off on starting any new games, until Wolverine came out. I just started the original Fable for the first time....and I'm hooked! 😅
