Tails Doll and Metal Knuckles merch in the same year?! Insane! Sonic R was a comfort game before I even knew what that was, so these releases feel very special. Paired this crimson menace up with my original childhood Knuckles!

So excited for this movie! Huge shout-out to Denny's for hooking it up with an extra menu AND the employee t-shirt!

When I first saw this cast shot in the Sonic Adventure 2: Battle guidebook as a kid, my dumbass thought these renders were action figures because I'd never seen such high-end graphics (I was so bummed they weren't actually figures) 😂 After 24 years, we finally have toys of ALL of these characters!

The real reason my Mecha Sonic documentary STILL isn't out yet? My computer keeps getting viruses thanks to this jerk trying to watch anime online for free

Crossovers are pretty tired these days, but this is a literal childhood dream come true—how can I NOT frame this and hang it up by my desk??

You may have heard some things about me in the last 24 hours, and I'd like to address these allegations head-on in the following posts. All I ask is that you please hear my side of things before jumping to conclusions. 🧵 (1/?):

It's interesting seeing the online comic book movie community reject this dude for toxic and obnoxious behavior (a pretty appropriate response) when in the Sonic fandom, screaming over products and offering no genuine substance whatsoever will grant you micro-celebrity status!

Update Mk. II: Runtime just got longer! Sometimes, additional content can be placed into the script seamlessly, but usually, stuff like this means rewrites. It's more work, but I never wanna do that thing where I randomly stop the video and go, "Hi, FuTuRe AlEx HeRe" then hastily dump new info 😂

I don't think my "finished" script for the Mecha Sonic documentary I'm doing will ever truly be finished 🙃 Wish they would stop releasing cool shit (that I absolutely need to cover) for just TWO SECONDS 😭

Quick update on "Mecha Sonic’s Identity Crisis," the documentary I'm working on: ... It's still coming! Added 15+ minutes to the total runtime to include recent content and additional info I picked up while researching. I can't work on it full-time, but I am working diligently!

'90s/early aughts Sonic media outside Japan would have characters with names like "Johnathan Frog" and it'd be some shit like this

Customized the Giant Mecha Sonic figure to have the "MS" insignia like in @judytotoya.bsky.social's production art; now it feels complete! I was torn on whether or not to have the sticker colored but ultimately went with red to match the mono-eye/feet and complement Mechagodzilla's symbol

I post about Mecha Sonic a lot because he's constantly on the brain thanks to the documentary I've been tirelessly working on; I can't wait for people to see it. And WHAT a great time to be uploading videos, too, what with YouTube being in the best place it's ever been and all!

Still in disbelief that Jakks actually made this happen! Eternally grateful to Mike Cisneros (Associate Director of Licensing at Sega) for this 🥹 This Giant Mecha Sonic is not only my new favorite Jakks figure, it's now one of my favorite figures, period!

My spiciest Sonic hot take. Mk. II is a rad design, but I always preferred the relative simplicity of Sonic 2's Mecha Sonic. Plus, if anyone's worthy of that name, I think it would be the one that's based on Mechagodzilla!

I don't even have this beaut in hand yet and already I have so much to say about it! I could share my thoughts in the Mecha Sonic documentary I've been working on for some time now, but tacking it on this late would throw off the pacing and not do it justice... I think it deserves its own video! 👀

A lot of "content creators" will defend the use of clickbait in their video titles/thumbnails, saying it's a necessity, but I dunno, man—I think if you're so reliant on it, your videos are probably not interesting

Celebrating my first and favorite Sonic the Hedgehog game (& Knuckles)! I started making stop motion animations with Sonic toys when I was around 11 years old (one year before YouTube launched!), and I never thought I'd still be doing this in my thirties; young me would be proud 😂
