After the first NFL Sunday of the season yesterday, been skimming some articles at work and see people still aren’t happy with Tom Brady’s commentating. Maybe I’m in the minority, but I personally think he does a pretty good job and he might be one of my favorites.

I had a lot of fun with The Mandalorian & Grogu. I don’t think it’s near as bad as a lot of critics are making it out to be. It’s just a fun space western adventure.

I have not been able to stop thinking about Maul — Shadow Lord. That finale was amazing, the animation is fantastic, and Maul has climbed up the rankings to be at least in the top 5 of my favorite Star Wars characters. I’ve been talking about it to anyone that will listen.

About to watch one of my favorites on the big screen

A movie theater showing of “The Silence of the Lambs”

It’s been hard keeping up with all these fantastic shows lately. The Pitt and Invincible are done for now, but there’s still Daredevil: Born Again, The Boys, AND Maul: Shadow Lord. And I’m trying to keep up with the Stanley Cup playoffs.

They seriously have Trump in the booth at the Lions/Commanders game talking about groceries and gas prices and how their ratings are going up now. Jesus Christ, this is a fever dream. So much for the “keep politics out of sports” crowd, right?

Every year on November 5th I rewatch V for Vendetta, and over the past couple of years my rewatches have gotten more and more unsettling due to the state of the nation. We’ll see how my thoughts are on it tonight, but it’s scary how accurate some of its messaging is for now.

Birds are looking ELITE today! Let’s get this W in Tampa Bay, baby!

Realized Ghost of Yōtei drops next week and it instantly made me feel so much better

Still can’t get over that Eagles win today, man. Like I said, open up the pass game, throw the ball. We looked like a whole other team in the second half. Keep that up, and our defense and special teams showing out, and we can run it back again this year.

030 3

brendo 🦅 @swegeroni.bsky.social · 21/09/2025

We gotta start throwing the ball, man. I dunno what these play calls are, but Patullo isn’t it. I was giving the benefit of the doubt the first two weeks, but running on 3rd and 16 is insanity. Wake up

What are we doin’ out there? Can’t be having Jalen taking sacks like that, man

Been a while since I posted here but there’s nothing like being an Eagles fan watching them beat the Chiefs at Arrowhead

Just finished season 1 of Severance and holy crap, I finally understand what everyone has been talking about. THAT is television and that’s how you do a season finale. Can’t wait to start season 2!

Rogue One hits so different after watching all of Andor. I can’t even put to words how these projects have made me feel.

Bro why are the How to Train Your Dragon movies so fantastic? I watched the third one tonight and have now finally seen all of them. I cried during each one. EACH. ONE.

Some Invincible sketches on a slow work day.

Despite not being sure how to feel about the first episode, Daredevil: Born Again has won me over. Each episode for me gets better, and I’m so happy since Daredevil is my favorite hero and I’m such a fan of the original show.

Happy birthday, Saquon Barkley and Cooper Dejean. Let’s get you those Super Bowl rings and bring the Lombardi home.

Good week so far. The Weeknd dropped a new album, trailer for Fantastic Four came out, and the Eagles are in the Super Bowl. Let’s keep it up!

Bro, X (I’m finally gonna stop calling it Twitter because of how much it’s changed) is such a terrible place now. I seriously just saw the OFFICIAL WHITE HOUSE ACCOUNT taking shots at Selena Gomez because of what she was saying about the deportations.

THE ROAD TO THE SUPER BOWL RUNS THROUGH PHILADELPHIA BABYYYYYYY 🦅 LET’S BRING HOME THAT LOMBARDI

Guess helmet to helmet is okay when you’re facing the #Eagles

010 1

brendo 🦅 @swegeroni.bsky.social · 22/12/2024

Wonder how the #Eagles fans that have been hating on Jalen Hurts and saying that playing Pickett would be better feel now. What a great game. 😑

000 0

brendo 🦅 @swegeroni.bsky.social · 22/12/2024

This #Eagles game is so frustrating. From the refs not throwing a flag on the Commanders head hunting Jalen Hurts and concussing him to them throwing a flag on the Eagles every time we turn around. Hoping Kenny Pickett can step up and help us secure this W.

Alright Birds, let’s go ahead and take that division! 🦅

I’m rooting against the Rams tonight for two reasons: 1. Fly Eagles Fly 2. Being from St. Louis, we still hate the Rams.

Name a show you’re positive no one remembers but you

010 1

brendo 🦅 @swegeroni.bsky.social · 11/11/2024

And with this blowout win against the Cowboys, and the Commanders losing to the Steelers, THE EAGLES SIT AT THE TOP OF THE NFC EAST! #FLYEAGLESFLY 🦅

brendo 🦅 @swegeroni.bsky.social · 10/11/2024

Once the offense gets cooking, there’s no stopping the #Eagles. Jalen Hurts is throwing absolute dimes, running it in himself for touchdowns. Saquon Barkley slamming his way through defenses. Stop sleeping on the Eagles.

brendo 🦅 @swegeroni.bsky.social · 10/11/2024

WAKE UP EAGLES FANS IT’S SUNDAYYYYY!! 🦅🦅

I’m gonna be honest, I don’t hate it. I love seeing Harrison Ford’s likeness and the top pic reminds me of how Ed Norton’s Hulk looked. I do kinda wish he had the mustache like the comics, but I’m not gonna pull hairs over that

brendo 🦅 @swegeroni.bsky.social · 09/11/2024

My one thing about Bluesky right now is I’m not seeing a lot of football posts. Like the Eagles haven’t posted here in 10 months. Hopefully that changes soon, because I don’t want to go to… the other place to see their stuff.

I will never forget the feeling of playing that first Thor boss battle. I knew I was playing something special.

Well, at least I have Fantasy Football in these rough times.

021 2

brendo 🦅 @swegeroni.bsky.social · 07/11/2024

Honestly? Let him have a movie. Or a show. I think a Disney+ show of him pulling off insane heists would be great.

brendo 🦅 @swegeroni.bsky.social · 07/11/2024

Probably gonna be here a lot more than the other platform. It’s an absolute hellscape over there, and I want no part in it.

Following up on my TMNT craze right now, The Last Ronin is such a well written, incredibly illustrated, and heart breaking “final chapter” for the world of the turtles. People call it their Dark Knight Returns, and I would agree. This book belongs up their with influential comics of our time.
