Completed a new painting -“Animal” 50 x 60 cm, acrylics (Title refers to the muppet) It’s a combination of a large pink sea anemone with a lamprey’s toothy mouth.

Hairy like pink sea anemone with a toothy mouth (like a lamprey) covering almost the entire canvas, with teal rocky background in corners.

Butterfly’s vision Acrylic, 70 x 100 cm

A lush jungle landscape beyond a pool of lillies, with a woman figure standing at the centre of it in black garb and colorful squares. Amidst the jungle we discover a chameleon crawling on the closest branch and leaves towards a blue morpho butterfly, a spider monkey at the rim of the pool, a duck flying up from the water, a crane walking left and behind the woman, a black large hornbill right of the woman. The lush green is contrasted with complementary red details in the animals , background flowers, and dress’s squares.
Butterflies can see UV light, so we see greyed hazes of pinks and purple contrasted with neon yellow flowers on bushes.
Despite it being busy, these contrasts and central figure create balance and focus, leaving the viewer time to discover the animals in the jungle.
This was painted using Roussea’s Dream of 1910 as inspiration, as academic exercise.

My mom (81) was hospitalised for observation last week on a geriatric wing, with low blood pressure (to make sure she isn’t having microscopic bleeding). To open the door from the inside the code is the year backwards. The door itself has a wallpaper sticker that makes it look like a bookcase.

I was not amongst the crowd on the side of the attraction anymore. Just 1 or 2 steps away from the complete lone darkness. I searched for a way to get back into the light and amongst other people. But he blocked my path and she was cutting the view too. /6
