Found a small container of beads I purchased god knows when and sat down and made a bracelet. The beads have more of an iridescent finish, which of course my phone didn't pick up.

Our accommodations! A horse barn with two large main houses and a few stables. The cosiest place I've ever been in. Great wi-fi, but zero (like, literally) no mobile phone reception whatsoever. You can borrow bicycles, board games, even audiobook CDs and a CD player for kids.

Okay, pictures! Let me divide this up into parts. Let's start with landscape! This is the protected heather in Lower Saxony, Germany. When in full bloom it's a great shade of purple. We were a bit late, but even in rusty brown it looks so breathtaking.

My current pens! No 1 is a rollerball pen, No 5 is a pencil, but the first 5 are all Kaweco pens. They will be joined by a sixth Kaweco bc as much as I looove the Rainbow Forest one, I remember why I stopped using it - I cannot get it to write properly, no matter what I do.

Look at it!!! All my pens from this brand are either marble, iridescent, or pearlescent, so they do have different colours but still go together nicely. And this is a mini pen. Can you imagine that one with a rose gold clip?

Finished cleaning my old rainbow fountain pen - it had dried-up purple ink in it. Took a whole day to flush it. I also found this rather girthy clear one that I have no recollection of ever buying or using, lol. It came with a converter. I've never used one before. None of them are my primary pen.

Still on a break, but I preciously talked about replacing our relatively new shoerack with one we can safely sit on to put our shoes on bc Mum used the step to the kitchen for that and it was beginning to become really unsafe. Before It has been cleaned, disassembled, and safely put into storage.

Finished chevron blouse! It's 100% mohair. I've steamed the pointy edges down for now; time will tell if this needs a proper block. A selfie will follow whenever I find the energy to get dressed lol.

I made tomato soup today, out of a bunch of fresh tomatoes. It was easy, relatively quick, and so good! I'm sure you could easily spruce it up with other veggies or meats. If you leave out the cream it's even vegan.
