In 2025 the US averaged 49k new jobs a month compared to 168k in 2024. To be clear these numbers were posted by the BLS today after Trump recently fired their statistics chief, claiming without evidence that the “jobs numbers were RIGGED in order to make the Republicans, and ME, look bad”.
