I purchased 64GB of DDR5 laptop ram in 2023 for around $300. That same ram is around $1000 today! Don't get me started on consumer GPU prices. The company I work for has held off upgrading our 3+ yo laptops that are out of warranty due to these insane component prices.

Is using using AI as a tool to help to bring a vision to life bad? It depends on whether you're a true code purist. I believe writing code should only be done in Assembly language using 'ed'. If you use anything else you should leave programming to people who have the real passion for learning.
