Canadians, we have limited time to take action on C-22, the disaster surveillance (and much other terrible things) bill: opencivics-labs.github.io/dontsurveil.... Make your voice heard. There's not much time left!

Canada is about to weaken every lock on your private messages — dontsurveil.me

Bill C-22 would force every messaging app in Canada to build a second key, and give the copy to the government. What's changed, what's happening now, what's next.

Is it worse to be PSV (my fav) to beat Juventus and then lose 7-1 to Arsenal in the round of 16, or to be Inter and get to the UCL final and lose 5-0?

Wearing my (awesome) PFC third jersey at a Grasshopper FC game in Zurich — and having someone ask me about it because it is so great. @pacificfc.bsky.social #pfc

Waking moment in a random church in Genoa today: a local proposed centuries ago that the 8th deadly sin should be “indifference”. Seems extremely appropriate in 2025. Don’t be indifferent!

Delighted to have cancelled my Washington Post subscription after Jeff Bezos latest ridiculous move. New slogan of the Post…”Democracy Dies“.

@bnewbold.net — we met a year ago talking DID methods that could be used in place of did:web. I was talking about did:webs — a no-go. Too complicated… We've since come up with did:tdw “Trust DID Web". That is simple with key did:plc features. Love to get feedback: bcgov.github.io/trustdidweb/

Talking with various people about DIDs, did:web, KERI and the idea of “did:webs”. In theory — did:webs is to did:web what HTTPS is to HTTP. Verifiability of the DIDDoc through the verification of the KERI Event Log.

Love my new vertical tabs in #bravebrowser. After using veritical tabs in #sigmaos for months, and now using them in Brave, browsing is good no matter where I am.

Delighted to see some attention being paid to the idea of AnonCreds and NIST signatures being applied in parallel to the same verifiable credential. We demonstrated this back in October, but perhaps not in the right places. lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public…
