A man has been arrested following the police seizure of some 56,000 wild bird eggs. The huge collection of eggs was seized by Essex Police during a series of raids. The police visited an address in Benfleet on Thursday 28 November as part of efforts to tackle an illegal trade in wild bird eggs.
