Looking at art I like has felt kind of demotivating since my late teen years. I feels like whenever I see something cool, that's another thing I have to fight the urge to draw or subconsciously reference. Especially with how some people can be with that stuff.

I think another amazing example of this would probably be Moltres and Articuno in both their RG and RB sprites. Articuno feels otherworldy, in it's RB sprite the eyes feel unnatural, I can's really tell if it's like a big eye or a small beady one.

Next should be Phantom of the Operah, have very fond memories of it being my favourite play. The music is also spectacular so I'm excited to read this novel. Also hear that Mewtwo from the first Pokemon movie is based on him, funny to see my favourite characters are connected.

Tweel's race is expanded upon, relating them to the Egyptian god Thoth, and trees. Again it's interesting with the black rope creatures, especially since they're pretty infamous to Tweel's people, promising them happiness, away from a dying world with their own death.

The black rope creatures that show you your desires are incredibly interesting as well as Tweel though most of his stuff comes after this. The barrel aliens were a race that exist only to serve their people, even if it means death. at least that's how I read it.

read Pygmalion's Spectacles, interesting that a random book I downloaded resonated with me this well. It talks about a lot of stuff I find interesting like dreams, reality as well as desire for something unreal. though maybe the ending goes against that.

But with most of my thoughts on media, I think it would just be better to channel them into the VN. I also want to consume more media but it feels like if I do that I'd be wasting time I could be using to make something (Even though I rarely ever do make something.).
