Yes, it shows you that, it actually pretests configurations before you can save them. If a collector config ever crashes it, it tries to start the previous one. It's all not perfect but I tried to have some recovery and error handling addressed

The TRACEPARENT environment variable is not only used in your CI/CD pipeline, a coding agent can use it to propagate context to your tools. Did a short video on it:-)

Help us stabilize environment variable context propagation. The OTel Specification now has a release candidate for environment variables as context propagation carriers. We want feedback before we mark it Stable. buff.ly/cKwKa7v

Had some fun asking an LLM to help me compile an analysis of the 600+ blog posts that use the „it’s 2am…“ (or 3am) cliché: its-2am-analysis.vercel.app

It's 2am, you have read this post
604 DevOps and SRE posts reach for that night anyway — 399 of them in the first line, and 18 independently chose 2:47am. Then we asked an LLM for 100 openings of its own.

Read into the topic a while ago as well, and either I am in the same position as you, or there is something wrong with the viral version of this. Some people saying they “see” an apple mean it loosely; some saying they “see nothing” have faint imagery they don’t count. Self-report alone is noisy…

See how Causely continuously builds an always-on service graph (services, infra, and data flows) and combines it with traces, metrics, and logs to pinpoint the exact regression, its blast radius, and the causal path — with clear, explainable reasoning in seconds.
