![[Context] Oliver was teleported onto the Golden Ravens’ flying ship for Saana’s sake, with Ezra and Erik’s help (and Jude with the sending spell!)
Oliver was given a tour of the flying ship before Saana asked for some time alone with him in her room. She told Oliver about the battle the party fought the day before and how the avatar killed her towards the end of the fight. Erik and Jude revivified her, but her (now mended) broken spine was left heavily bruised.

TRANSCRIPT EXCERPT:
“Come here.” Oliver said softly, pulling Saana onto his lap, wrapping his arms around her, making sure not to hurt her back.
Saana buried her face in his chest, guilt burning from her stomach to her throat. Tears found their way down her cheeks.
“I’m so sorry,” Oliver whispered.
“I’m sorry,” Saana whispered back.

Saana removed her tunic, leaving on her undergarment, exposing the full bruising on her back. It ran from the upper mid-section of her spine and stopped a few inches before her tail.
She heard Oliver unscrew the lid of the balm before he placed it down on the bed. Saana felt his hand steady her. She took a breath as fingers gingerly massaged the balm down the bruise.
[…] She smiled and reached to wrap her arms around Oliver’s neck, kissing him. He kissed her back and laughed, trying to find a way to hold her that didn’t involve touching her bruise or the freshly applied balm.
