Outstanding work from @usfcoph.bsky.social researchers Drs. Noah Sather and John Adams. Their discovery of a previously unknown vulnerability in P. vivax malaria could help advance vaccine development and prevent recurring infections. Congratulations to the team! www.usf.edu/health/news/...

Today, we remember the lives lost on 9/11/2001, and honor all who answered the call to help. We thank Congress for supporting the WTC Health Program and urge the Administration to fully fund it for survivors and responders. May we carry forward a spirit of service and compassion.

Floridians are accustomed to mosquitoes. What we are less accustomed to is seeing dengue fever in our own neighborhoods. With local transmission occurring in Tampa Bay, I shared what residents and health care providers should know in the Tampa Bay Times. 🔗 www.tampabay.com/viewpoints/2...

Thanks, Jill, for these tips. It’s not the year for Tampa Bay, but here are fun facts: The Buccaneers won their first Super Bowl in 2003 (Super Bowl XXXVII), defeating the Oakland Raiders 48–21 under head coach Jon Gruden.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health is the most shocking and the most inhumane because it often results in physical death.” Today, we honor his legacy by recommitting to health equity and justice for all at @usfcoph.bsky.social.
