They can be. But they are getting older so they lounge a lot. Still, they act like much younger dogs. Curious about the harness you use for your dog, if you’d be willing to share. Mine need an upgrade and thinking about one of these car seat set ups for a longer trip.

Yeah, my guys are small also. One very small and one a little bit bigger. But, I think they would freak out in the travel crate. I’ll have to look into that option. My vet was recommending these like car seat things.
