Creator economy is in the billions. BILLIONS. They create media companies, podcast networks, merchandise, manufacturing units, etc. I really don’t think anyone should ever let anyone stop them from creating the thing they’ve always wanted to create.

Okay I work in marketing and read eMarketer everyday and Bluesky, despite a much lower userbase than X currently, the publisher engagement rate is wayyyy better. The Boston Globe reports 3x traffic from Bluesky and 4.5x higher conversions to paid subscriptions. Ya'll.

One thing I hope doesn't happen here is the stymieing of open and civil discourse in a way that forces you to examine your own ideas. I think part of what fractured left-learning groups/parties is moralism and purple prose that blinded people from a new perspective.
