It's not irrational! A ridiculous social media trend that damages micro-habitats and landscapes alike. People dismantled a drystone wall for this eyesore. At least they got a photo for their socials 😡

As if the BBC give a stuff! I complained and this was their response... We're fighting a losing battle: bylinetimes.com/2025/06/09/b...
Thank you for getting in touch with us about our recent news coverage of Nigel Farage and Reform UK.

Nigel Farage is an elected MP and leader of a political party, and we give careful consideration to ensuring any story concerning him is given proportionate coverage on our networks.

Reform UK’s success was one of the key narratives and outcomes of the 2024 general election. The party returned five MPs, but won four million votes, making them the third largest party in terms of vote share, behind Labour and the Conservatives. In the recent local elections, Reform UK won a by-election, took direct control of ten councils and won two Mayoral contests.

Overall, we consider our recent coverage had complied with the BBC’s Editorial Guidelines and both Mr Farage and Reform UK have received appropriate coverage. We thank you for taking the time to get in touch, and your comments have been passed along to senior news editors.

If you’d like to understand how your complaint is handled at the BBC, you might find it helpful to watch this short film https://www.bbc.co.uk/contact/complaints. It explains the BBC’s process for responding to complaints, what to do if you aren’t happy with your response and how we share the feedback we receive.
