The El Dor!do Amador Prescribed Burn Association helped with a 4 acre burn in Volcano on Saturday. We spent a lot of time raking around trees to pull back a deep layer of duff (it helped the moist duff burn & protected the trees). It was my first burn with cows in attendance! They weren't bothered.
