Purchased Mme Abla (Cairo atelier, died 2006) belly dance costume. Aghast/horrid condition. Rusted hardware, fabric lining and Egyptian beaded fringe removed/garbage. Missing rhinestones ordered. Inner belt sprayed w/ vodka to remove stink. Learned quality Egyptian fringe no longer made. Frick.

Friend's landlord said- her front door is swollen due to the monsoon season. It will close/lock when monsoon is over. Landlord expected our female friend to live with an unlocked door until May 2027. (That door was fixed at 9:38 p.m. With neighbor requests we fix theirs too.)

Decided to sew a garment. Gathering fabric, patterns, and smaller items. Learned one pattern (I want) sold in 2016 and second hand pattern obscenely expensive. Deeply miss Big 4 pattern companies and buying patterns on sale.

Add two dogs 🐕 🐕 rescued off a busy road to the list. Took ten minutes (on a hot day) to find the owner. Neither had collars. Thankfully- go home! Worked. Peacock, turtle, toad, and now two dogs.
