You admit, even if you don't acknowledge that you do, that you believe that EVERYONE has a "gender identity" that is what determines whether they are man or woman. This is simply false. There is no evidence to support it that can't be better explained otherwise.

It is at least a quasi religious term when used to make the fantastical claim that some women are male. You are borrowing authority for *your* use of "cis" to make that exact claim even tho its scientific use does not refer to human subjective identity claims.

You are trying to use credentialism to force acceptance of a term and, by extension, the idea you are promoting by using it. It can't work bc the idea itself is tosh. 'Gender identity" is not a widespread, never mind universal, experience. *Everyone* has a(n immutable) sex.

You cant make "commonly accepted" bring about a change of material reality either. If everyone in the entire world "accepted" that men can become women, it would still be untrue.

In this conversation, you are using it to prop up the notion that a person can be a man or a woman regardless of their sex. No credentials, of speaker or vocabulary, can overcome the plain fact that that is untrue.

Don't underestimate how baked in this projection is. These things succeed bc they use existing biases that everyone is inculcated with, albeit some more successfully than others. I don't excuse everyone but I think it helps to understand the problem.

That doesn't answer the question. All else aside, do you think a woman who has been raped by a male perpetrator should have access to support to recover from that in space where she can be sure no male person - however blameless - will be? Or do you think she should not have that?

Those claims are false. Amnesty knows this. Your insignificance is the main thing that protects you from repercussions for making them. Amnesty has no such shield.

If Amnesty had evidence to substantiate the claim that various orgs, all small, mostly volunteer run & incl a rape crisis support service were "anti-rights", why would they have withdrawn the report, confirming that they will not republish? Fear of litigation doesn't cut it. This *is* Amnesty.

US law is different. The report was produced by the UK arm and is subject to UK law. IANAL but perhaps its continued dissemination in ither territories will simply add to Amnesty's financial liability. Calling various orgs "anti-rights" bc they disagree with trans ideology is false & defamatory.
