Great day in @parliament.scot for the Scottish Women’s Convention’s #InternationalWomensDay celebration. Excellent speakers, and a really diverse and engaged audience. #IWD25

This is just horrific, it’s truly shameful that our children and young people are allowed to live in poverty. #childpoverty

What a week…collecting donations for our families, interviewing managers, securing grant funding, being part of a fab delivery team for a leadership skills session, productive meetings, strategic progress, time in our #flexiblechildcare services & time out for a bit of aerial fun! #lovemyjob

I’m doing a bit of storytelling this week, sharing experiences as a leader. I’m being honest about the challenges along the way & the skills, values & characteristics that have helped. Currently thinking & doodling a few images to peg the chat on. 💣 #SocialCEO #BeTheChange #ScotlandsChangemakers

Image shows two hand drawn stick people each holding a placard. The 1st says “Do the right thing, know your why and be resilient” there is a picture of a bomb dropping in the middle, the 2nd placard says “Still here, still delivering impact”.

Flexible childcare empowers parents to work therefore tackling child and family poverty. It's also a powerful tool for reducing gender inequality. By offering options that accommodate diverse schedules, we're breaking down barriers to work, barriers that predominantly affect women www.fcss.org.uk

Image shows a box sign that says gender pay gap, it is on a background that is half pink and half blue.

Playing around on the hoop, fun times with All or Nothing Stirling. Aerial beginner giving it a go.

Grateful for our partnerships with FareShare and Dundee Bairns that allow us to support families to access food and household products across our services. This helps address the cost of living challenges our families face and reduces food waste.

Picture shows 6 images in a collage. These pics are of food displayed on tables and include vegetables and store cupboard items.

I’m proud of our work at Flexible Childcare Services Scotland. Last yr our work put £1.92m into the pockets of some of Scotland’s poorest families, simply by empowering parents to work. This is high quality, sustainable, life changing, economy boosting childcare. This is flexible childcare.

Image shows 3 towers of coins on a purple background, each pile getting bigger and describes the financial benefit of flexible childcare over the last 3 years.
