I'm sick for the first time since about 2019. When I say sick, I have a mild case of the sniffles, and a slight headache. I do not like it one bit. Anti-vaxxers are morons.

Hope leaders are being asked what they're going to do about remote hospital closures. Bringing docs in from US isn't the be all and end all. The hospitals need to be staffed by professionals who can work under conditions of no surgery, no backup, no machines that go bing.

People either drink or they don't. Dropping the tax won't make any difference to consumption.

For those who don’t know me, I truly try not to swear but here’s the problem, my father was British, my grandfather was from Newfoundland and I grew up in Cape Breton, my vocabulary is sweary and on that note, Trump is a fucking twat, muzzle your dog, we bow to no one.

My question too. Does Pt Roberts even have a port to get supplies that don't come through Canada? I think their high school students need to take a school bus through Canada.

Random thought. Humans are contrary. So AI is fed as much human source material as AI founders can steal. How does AI determine the nonsense from the fact? It doesn't. Also facts change. We all thought shaken baby syndrome was a thing - until it wasn't. (Woman convicted in 2002 just acquitted)

Nationalize Stelco and use steel in LNG and other major projects. BC has been importing cheap steel for too long, and some of it (ie: Victoria Bridge) had to be sent back.

If Canadian boycott decimated US tourism and booze, imagine the effect on vehicles. Do commuters need enormous trucks with beds too small for a sheet of plywood?

Socred/BC Lib/BC Con approach to resource development has been to syphon resource areas to benefit lower mainland, contributing nothing to their long term prosperity and bringing in workers from outside, living in work camps, to detriment of families and host areas.

We hardly ever say "sorry" in that context. We might say "sorry" if we walk into a parking meter, for instance, but if that parking meter falls over and damages someone's car, we'll probably say"I should apologize," but we don't. We just complain that the parking meter installer was a moron.

Spoiling ballots doesn't do anything. Election workers are tired at the end of a long day. They don't care if you write a heartfelt essay on the ballot or a curse word or nothing. It goes in an envelope, sent to elections BC and probably is never looked at again.

It's not "Western" frustration with Ottawa. It's Alberta frustration. Here in BC we mostly just ignore Ottawa, unless we're, as currently, in an existential crisis with US. Alberta needs to grow up and stop whining.

Cutting taxes on fuel does not make price at the pump come down. It just gives fuel companies room to raise prices. The tax need to be on the corp side.

I have an 1877 Cassells Family Magazine book. There's an article from a doc asking people to get smallpox vax, which in those days was taking pus from a victim or a cow and scratching it into a healthy person's arm. Anti vax arguments were the same. Meanwhile the death rate was up to 60%

All candidates need to address this. There needs to be a solution to remote hospital closures. Docs trained in big hospitals with all the support can't be expected to be "Dr Quin, Medicine Woman" or whatever that old show was called.
