First time I've seen a cat running a yard sale!

On a housing estate in autumn sun, a path past a brick wall has a range of household objects on it
At the end of the row of things a black cat sits with a proprietorial air.

@rachelcoldicutt.bsky.social neighbours cat does not understand catflaps, has no microchip, does understand shaming humans with their project backlog:

This is how I ended up seeing the eclipse! Pair of binoculars rested on the bag of snacks, with a notepad behind to project onto. Much easier than the pinhole approach once I worked out how to support the binoculars!

A pair of binoculars are sitting on a bag. Shadows are cast onto a book held up behind
The shadows look a bit like a pair of heads, made more so by their bright smiles which are the sun deep into the eclipse, projected onto the book

Not sure what type of gardening it is when you grow a tree as a trellis for your vines, but that's this.

A plum tree growing against the sky. Grape vines are climbing up and over the plum tree.

Well, I don't know if this is a bus driver heckling the bus advert or a sensible considered campaign on someone's part. Made me laugh either way.

A bus with a commercial advert "the army is recruiting now" and the side display showing the world war 1 imagery of a poppy and "Lest We Forget - We Will Remember Them"

This pleases me. I overwintered a chilli that didn't do so well last year. It's my first fruit this year :) #gardening #chillis

Chilli plant showing 9 pale green/yellow chillis in front of a brick wall.

Managed to do my #bandcampFriday orders at an airport and on the Elizabeth line. I'm not sure i want to know how much I spent :)

A laptop open to Bandcamp with a pint of Finnish beer next to it. A window behind shows scenes of an airport.

Visiting a stroke ward over the weekend and I was impressed by the reading matter in the lounge.

A copy of "Principia Mathematica to *56" and a copy of "The Hobbit" in a mixed bookshelf in a hospital

Go round Buddhist monastery in Seoul, see sacred piles of stones. Go round Haringey, see sacred piles of bricks. The primal theology is clearly the same...

Along a wide stone slab, many tiny piles of stones are made. In the background a punica tree grows with a sign in multiple languages

A six high stack of bricks sits before an eleven high looser stack in an urban area. Red and blue cars are visible. A stack of building materials in shrink wrap to the left sets the scene.

Today's #freePalestine demo was amazing. Huge turnout. The actual population of Britain stands in solidarity with the people of Palestine whatever the Starmer government tries to pretend. Favourite chant: "Michael Rosen speaks for me, not the Board of Deputies"

I asked reality, "Newgrange but N15" and I got this:

An urban slot corridor with the sun setting at the end. Wild plant growth to the left, a wall of graffiti to the right, and a straight path in the centre. Above a cantilevered walkway. Lens flare from the sun setting.

Still not sure if this is the second or third one of these living along the new river...

An aqueduct cuts past housing. On the far bank a grey heron poses.

Sometimes you find a really terrible haiku and it just sticks...

Finsbury Park Boating Lake sign reads:
Please wait
