We are having Toby carvery macaroni cheese from Iceland for tea, I get the warburtons cheese toasties for Nick to take to work MIL has laid in a hospital bed for 10 days & there is f all wrong with her, SIL lying saying she’s had TB for years, they really annoy me

I’ve just ordered a box of the FFP3 masks, we were due to see niece tomorrow but I cancelled earlier in the week as I’ve been very sniffly this week, I’m glad I cancelled as she could have bought all sorts of germs with her & I had to shield in the pandemic & nick definitely would have to now

Because it’s the geriatric ward the heating will be on full blast letting the germs rapidly mutate, no windows will be open & the visitors can cough & sneeze over the patients, Nick has an orthotic appointment there in Monday I’m going to suggest he wears a mask as it will be spreading rapidly

This utter madness letting visitors on the ward & then not letting the patients off the ward for tests/physio etc also TB is really contagious, so the visitors can bring some germs in, leave with Covid, TB etc & pop into lidl & infect a whole shop & it will spread like wildfire

Just heard from niece they think MIL has TB but aren’t letting patients off the ward for tests as there is Covid on the ward & they are still allowing visitors!!!! Covid on a geriatric ward is very dangerous you would think they would quarantine them

The windows have been thick with condensation as soon as they were installed, it’s a right lash up I think they won’t discharge her as she refused to get out of bed, eat or wash, yesterday was in a chair & ate, I sound uncaring but this is at least the 4th time this has happened, v frustrating

Builders sound like they are smashing the place up, he’s got damp so maybe sorting that SIL asked why they hadn’t washed MIL, but of a cheek seeing as none of them washed her for weeks, told her assessment unit not ward & people go for tests & leave & don’t stay for 5 days as there are no beds

I think it’s because she’s been on her own this summer, all day clubs close & everyone does their own thing, I think if she spends time with S&BIL she might perk up, I read about lewy body syndrome when Rob Rinder spoke of his dad having it & promoting awareness, it must be hard for you both ❤️

If she goes to SIL & BIL for a bit she will love it as they spoil her & take her out most days, I think this started as she’s been on her own all summer as niece works, obnoxious BIL goes to his caravan with his obnoxious gf & BIL & SIL sail round the med in their yacht, would stop this behaviour

Tests come back clear, she stays at SIL & BIL house once a month as they live a few hours away & are both retired, there’s nothing wrong with her apart from not washing or eating, if she goes back to her house this will continue as niece works full time & MIL plays her up, it’s gone too far now

She won’t look after herself, niece has given up saying she will sit outside the wet room but MIL says she can’t be bothered so I think they will put her in a home & do a mental health assessment

There are docking stations mostly outside tube stations & random other places but they get left everywhere, it will either get picked up by the vans that drive round & chuck them in the back or someone will use it & dump it somewhere else

These bikes get dumped everywhere it’s right next to my car door on the pavement, this pavement is packed on the school run so someone will move it, when they get dumped outside pizza he puts menu leaflets in the baskets 🍕

We used to use a vet practice that came to our house but they reduced their services & when Giovanni was unwell the first time they couldn’t help so we went to a vets that is only about 2 miles away, much better you use the one with a better road, it would be awful getting stranded with a poorly pet
