As well as painting, I've been knitting clothes for my new grandchild and these very Australian toys #knittedtoys

This is painting of Archie, our friends' cute little two-year old. He's such a sweet and clever little boy! #Watercolor #Watercolour

I'm in Australia and winter has started. I have two parents with dementia/Alzheimer's disease. After I visited Dad in his nursing home today, I went to the pharmacist and got a free flu shot because I've had flu for three consecutive years running!

This one allowed me to play with texture and learn a little more about the paints. It includes white watercolour pencil and white gouache. The values aren't always entirely right, and it gets muddy at times, but it does have a sense of movement. #Watercolour

I wouldn't over estimate Australia for effectively dealing with pedos.

One time, I noticed a magpie watching me play with my grand dog in the park. The dog jumped up on me excitedly, and the magpie, misinterpreting events, let out its predator warning cry that I know so well from experience with magpies. Birds are great communicators. www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmys...

This cow painting came together fairly quickly. I was drawn to painting the nose and tongue. I think she has character!

I enjoyed painting this little red-capped robin. I was drawn to painting the background, and the colours go well with the approaching festive season. It was finished quickly because it's quite a small painting and I didn't fuss.

Three ago, I visited my dad in another state. His housemate was literally dying, but dad just stared at the TV muttering about unpaid rent. I called the ambulance for his emaciated housemate, and within a week had arranged dementia care for Dad. I recognise Trump's vacant stare.

I agree, and I was going to suggest it could also be a manifestation of his dementia, but he's a sociopath nonetheless.

History shows that extreme wealth inequality + government corruption + a lost or radicalised middle class + loss of faith in institutions -> revolution/chaos/ terror. www.youtube.com/watch?v=75W1...
