years later, my dad saw this at a flea market and got it for me. it's a prized possession that i even moved from the netherlands to the US (not to mention a great conversation starter since it's prominently behind me on video calls 😆)

as for movies, it was the t. Rex and the velociraptors in Jurassic park. my parents took me because it was a Spielberg movie and i loooooved dinosaurs but... i was too young and ran screaming and crying out of the theater 🤣 became one of my favorites later though!

for me it was these milk ads that were on bus stops, by frans hettinga. at 3 years old i was both terrified of them and also didn't want to look away, a fascination that continues to this day!

update: confirmed good!! i loved the demo, it's SUPER fun to navigate the island yourself with the realistic map (and very doable with the island's layout!), and the characters are super cute and funny. will definitely play the full thing when it comes out

ubisoft made a space game called atlas that somehow featured the starfox crew, and it pretty much also used this style, and i loved it. i like how his canines make him a little edgy and not just cute. kinda underrated game imo!
