They spent so much time on this ridiculous case. I thought they’d have Athena in denial about Bobby (hence not rushing anyone for his body), then she and the 118 finally accept the death when the lady turned out to be wrong. And THEN we realize Bobby’s still alive! #911onABC

I was disappointed we didn’t get any moments where we acknowledge Bobby’s basically everyone’s surrogate dad. Nothing makes you miss your dad more than when you wanna go to him about a random thing and you realize you need to figure out something else now. #911onABC

Tim says that in his interviews this week but an extended coma could’ve resulted in similar character arcs. I also just hate that Tim said Bobby’s sacrifice somehow had more value because he didn’t want to go. What does that even say to people who identify with Bobby’s struggles? I’m ranting but 😭!

Eddie doesn’t take for granted that he gets to have Buck so unguarded & trusting & fully present for him. He sees it for the privilege it is & can only marvel at the weight of it, the sheer inevitability of it. No one else puts this look on Buck’s face. It’s only Eddie, for Eddie, because of Eddie.

If we’re teeing up buddie, I think the purpose of bringing back that man is to show Buck has no desire to scratch that particular itch any longer. So far that man has only been there in one capacity for Buck. Perhaps we need to see him one more time to show he doesn’t serve Buck that way anymore.

When every day it feels like the real world is ending, #911LoneStar decided to end the series not only by literally mirroring that but also by replicating some of the most triggering traumas: deportation, broken (found) families, cancer, death. Not one single person asked for any of that.

So without ever mentioning it, Buck decides to A/B test Eddie Diaz! And he slowly starts to serve Eddie only the foods he learns Eddie prefers, makes sure those options are always available when Buck controls the menu, buys raspberries in addition to blueberries on grocery runs, etc. [3/7] #911onABC

It starts when Buck realizes Eddie doesn’t actually like blueberries when they’re out at breakfast & Eddie asks the waiter to hold the blueberries on the stack of pancakes he’s ordered.
