Oh don't get me wrong, I'm all for moderated spaces, but I'm not sure if automation is the right way to do it. E.g. some places have invite trees to (try) to take down sock puppet accounts allowing manual moderation to be more effective.

I am happy to announce that my first paper has been accepted at USENIX Security! We propose TEEcorrelate, a mitigation that statistically decorrelates reported performance counters from real ones during TEE execution.

I love when new research comes out to back up my "phishing training is bad practice" priors: www.computer.org/csdl/proceed... I track the latest evidence against phishing simulations: rami.wiki/phishing-sim...

Why is no padding necessary?

It would be cool if LLVM could just do this, but I suppose it can't because these would be two different hashes..

4/Now that Dorsey has bailed as a board member and principal funder, Bluesky’s DNA is basically TPOT people. Who is going to win in that scenario? I don’t know, but I’m not putting money on the users. The most recent funding came from Blockchain Capital LLC... www.theverge.com/2024/5/5/241...

I'm not seeing much of a supposed feed algorithm.. maybe I haven't trained it enough. Is the implementation open-source?

Thanks for the link, I wasn't aware they had shared details on it. Though I'll believe their business plan when I see it; it's quite typical for VC funded startups to have a phase where they are usable, until they need to turn a profit for their investors and the inevitable enshittification starts.
