Why would the government be upset with Superman stopping a war? Because governments profit off of war, and most military conflicts have underhanded, nefarious reasons for taking place. James Gunn’s #Superman is already shaping up as a film with something to say about the world.

Since some don’t understand Clark’s tone with the “People were going to die!” line delivery… He’s expressing righteous indignation. The subtext is “How is this even a thing? I did what was clearly right.” He’s not mad at Lois. He can’t believe people are like this. #Superman

That moment where you can hear the weakness in Jonathan’s voice, and see the age and feebleness on his face. Clark knows his father will soon be gone, and there’s nothing he can do about it. 😭 That hug hits different now. #Superman

The change in voice and composure between “Let’s do it, Cronkite” and “Miss Lane” in the Superman trailer totally gives this….

Yesterday we got a Superman trailer where we saw him portrayed as passionate, emotional, stubborn, vulnerable, altruistic, idealistic, resilient, and able to be hurt (without Kryptonite!) For the people who say “He’s too perfect, and boring”… Uh, no. He’s not. That was #Superman

For those comparing these two shots, let me help you out… One is a character fearing for his life. The other is the girlfriend of the villain that likely brought that menace to Metropolis. Film commentary isn’t for everyone.

Some of you know I’m having a real tough time… And it just got worse. If you’re a supporter, I could really use your help. And I can’t create new episodes of the show until this is resolved. Life is, indeed, chaos. So here I am, seeking kindness. gofund.me/bc87a714

When I 1st heard about #SupermanAndLois, I shrugged it off as "Just another Arrowverse show I won't watch." Thank GOD I changed my mind and gave it a shot. The series delivered the best live-action Superman story in 40+ years. And it ends tonight... Thank you @supermanandlois.bsky.social!

I can't believe we're finally here. When James Gunn launched DC Studios in October of '22, the new universe I'd been praying for felt so far away... But now we're mere days from #CreatureCommandos and the launch of the DCU!

"I am a great believer that if we tell good, authentic stories, if a movie does well or not, if you keep with that same philosophy, that you're going to build a universe that people are going to love and want to be a part of for a long time." I believe in James Gunn! #DCU

EXCLUSIVE: There’s an animated KNIGHTFALL Trilogy coming. The cast features actors who’ve appeared both on and off screen. So start taking bets on whether it’s DCU or not. Cast includes Anson Mount and Pablo Schreiber. (Might that be the DCU Batman and Bane…?)
